Reviewing the new ABC hit “Station 19”

If you are interested in firefighters, romance, action, and adventure, Station 19 is the perfect show. This show comes on ABC on Thursday nights, right after Grey’s Anatomy. It starts at 9p.m. and runs for an hour.

I started watching Station 19 when the first episode came on Thursday, March 22. I really enjoyed the first episode because it was a 2-hour premiere and because there was a lot of romance and action during the first 30 minutes.

Station 19 also ties in with Grey’s Anatomy. During the premiere, it showed many scenes with the main characters of Grey’s Anatomy, like Meredith, Alex, and Jo. This show takes place three blocks down from the hospital, Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, which is where Grey’s Anatomy takes place.

A few of the characters from Station 19 have been scene in other shows that come on ABC. For example, Ben Warren, who was on Grey’s Anatomy as a medical intern, is a firefighter in Station 19, deciding he would rather arrive on site to accidents instead of waiting for patients at the hospital. Also, Andy Herrera, plays the main character in Station 19.

As soon as I heard about Station 19, I knew I had to watch it. I like it because it reminds me of Grey’s Anatomy and has the same dramatic elements as the popular show.

Station 19 mostly takes place at a fire station because this is where the characters eat, sleep, and work.

This show is definitely for viewers 17 and older because it has mature content. So far, I would consider Station 19 to be worthy of five stars. It has all the qualities I look for in a show. I would recommend this show even to those who haven’t seen Grey’s Anatomy. You will also gain more knowledge about what life is like as a firefighter…or at least the way the T.V. industry portrays it.
