Varsity soccer falls to Magna Vista Warriors
The boys varsity soccer team played against the Magna Vista Warriors, losing 1-2. The game was close and had Trojan fans on the edge of their seats.
The Trojans began the game ahead of the Warriors and soon became tied, but they refused to give up. During the last half, the Warriors managed to get one more goal, putting them ahead of the Trojans.
While running down the field in the second half, senior Gage Mckenna was faced with an injury to his ankle. Although Mckenna had to call it a night, the rest of the team still put in their best efforts.
“We missed a lot of opportunities tonight, but we still got some lucky bounces. We’ll get ’em [them] next time,” said senior Sal Costagliola.
The boys will be back in action April 13, playing the Patrick County Cougars at Patrick County.
