The Lady Trojans took on the Magna Vista Warriors at home. The Trojans swept the Warriors, after defeating them in a 3-0 set match, leading the division undefeated with a record of 6-0.

Senior Nia Green is excited for the rest of the season ahead. She feels as if the hard work and dedication is the main factor to such a successful season.

“You have to work for things you want, and we want a state title, so we are going to work hard for it,” said Nia Green.

Leading the way for the Trojans were Cathryn Estes with 8 kills and 7 points, Kaylee Scarce with 9 kills, Nia Green with 5 kills, Sarah Beth Marlowe with 2 blocks and 6 points, and Kinsley Stevens with 28 assists and 8 points.

The domination of the Lady Warriors started early in the first set, with Tunstall finishing the first set at  25-12. That momentum stayed with the team through the whole match.

The second set was another win for the Trojans, after trailing early, went on to take the set 25-18 in what was probably the most closely contested set of the whole night.

The third and final set was yet another runaway for the Lady Trojans, winning 25-15. The momentum was clearly on the side of home team all game long, with Magna Vista unable to take home a win.

The Trojans will travel to Franklin County on Thursday, Sept. 20.
