Spirit Week days announced
Homecoming Week will kick-off on Monday, October 7, and will conclude with the football game versus Bassett at 7pm on Friday, October 11.
All week, Homecoming is celebrated through Spirit Days selected by the varsity cheerleaders.
Monday: Hollywood v Dollywood
Senior Hannah Day is ready to celebrate her final Spirit Week although she says, “I want to cry every time I think about it”.
“I am excited about Hollywood vs. Dollywood because I came up with the name for that day, and I am very excited to see what people are going to do with it,” said Day.
“I’m most excited for Hollywood vs. Dollywood because I can dress all country-like with boots and a cowboy hat,” said sophomore Elena Booth.
Tuesday: Class Color Day

- Sophomores-Blue
- Juniors-White/Silver
- Seniors-Tie-Dye
Wednesday: Nursing Homes v Nursery Rhymes (no pajamas allowed)
Senior Ja’lyn Knick is most excited about Wednesday’s Spirit Day. “I am looking forward to Nursery rhymes vs Nursing Homes. I am dressing up with my boyfriend. I am going to be Little Red Riding Hood.”
Thursday: Team Thursday (dress in your favorite team sports apparel)
Friday: Spirit Day
The administration would like to remind students that the dress code still applies. Students are not allowed to wear pajamas, masks, or face paint that conceals the face.
