Lights, camera, action: Tunstall Interact Club to be featured on Danville documentary
Tunstall’s Interact Club will be featured in a documentary to be aired on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 19, 2015. The film is in partner with Engage Danville and the Danville Regional Foundation and is being created to emphasize the youth’s community involvement.
“It was a great opportunity to share my opinion on the importance of community service,” said junior Trevor Mensavage, who was interviewed at God’s Storehouse as the club officers packed food for the Malcolm Huckbee Backpacks Program— a program that sends food home for the weekend for children who are on free/reduced lunch at a local elementary school.
The documentary will not only be highlighting Danville’s youth, but where the community hopes to see the region going in the future.
Students who wish to be featured can also e-mail their selfies or short videos to [email protected].
Your donation will support the student journalists of Tunstall High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
