Leara Slattery will be attending Radford University Carilion in the Fall. She plans to go into the nursing program to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. Slattery has always wanted to be a nurse. “I love how many opportunities come with the nursing program. I can be all different types of nurses once I am finished with the program,” says Slattery. She is very thrilled to spend the next few years at RUC.
