Walking into any girly store you will probably get stopped by the most trending perfume. Nowadays, perfumes are pretty expensive, but most people don’t care because personal hygiene is a top priority. Most of the time any girl has some type of perfume they will carry around no matter where they are. Especially when walking into THS, you can usually smell each fragrance the girls have on. You may not know the name of it, but you can definitely smell it.
Sol de Janiero
One of the most popular perfumes on the market, Sol de Janiero, is a perfume used by many people. Its release in 2015 has been useful for every teenage girl when it comes to smelling good. “I use the body mist 71 caramelized vanilla and macadamia on a daily basis,” Sophomore Kayleigh Durham said. The brand has 16 body sprays, and comes out with new fragrances often. “My favorite body spray is 68 brazilian jasmine and pink dragonfruit,” Sophomore McCall Hollie responded. The brand’s social media has caught a lot of young girls’ eyes from their advertising.
Born Dreamer
Charli D’Amelio is a young 19-year-old designer. She makes a massive amount of income from social media and from launching her own brand. “It’s pricey, but I love how it smells,” Sophomore Makenzie Miller stated. Born Dreamer launched in 2022 and smells fruity with floral hints.
Cloud Eau de Parfum
Ariana Grande, a popular 30-year-old singer and designer, has created 14 perfumes for women. Her first released fragrance was in 2015: the Ari perfume. The Ari perfume fell off after a couple years, which led to the Cloud perfume. One of the best selling fragrances is the Cloud Eau de Parfum, which has a very relaxing smell. It is a blend of whipped cream, indulgent praline, coconut, and vanilla orchid, which all create a cotton candy smell. “I will never leave the house without this perfume on,” Junior Tatianna Carter said.
Bath and Body Works
Young women still care for the Bath and Body Works fragrances and other hygiene products. In 2023 these products aren’t as popular anymore, but there are still a few people who buy from the store. “The Snowflakes and Cashmere fragrance is one of my favorites for fall and winter,” Sophomore Caroline Neal answered.
Thankfully we have designers who won’t leave us hanging so we can smell good all day long. Being able to keep up with our hygiene is rewarded by the breathtaking perfumes we can buy. Every girl has their own opinion on which fragrances they prefer but the majority enjoys the same perfumes. As the new school year begins, girls will definitely use perfume often to make sure they smell amazing for the school day.
