The THS Lady Trojans volleyball team played three games on the Tunstall court this past week. 

On Monday, September 18 the JV team fell to the Chatham Cavaliers in three sets with scores of 23-25, 27-25, and 12-15. The Varsity team defeated the Chatham Cavaliers in three sets with scores of 25-12, 25-13, and 25-11.

Junior Colby Eastwood had 12 kills, six digs, and four aces. Junior Khamaurie Mays had seven kills and four blocks. Senior Carlie Marshall had six kills and three aces. Sophomore Delaney West had seven digs and three kills. Senior Parris Atkinson had seven digs. Senior Izzie White had 19 assists.

On Tuesday, September 19 the JV team began the night by defeating the Mecklenburg Phoenixes in three sets. The scores were 25-22, 19-25, and 15-6. Avery Tucker had seven kills and four aces. Josie Glasscock had ten aces and five assists. Gianna Reamey had seven aces. Kenley Barber had six aces. 

The Varsity team followed by also defeating the Phoenixes in three sets. The scores were 25-12, 27-25, and 25-23. Marshall had 11 kills and six blocks. Eastwood had 10 kills, nine digs, and five aces. Mays had seven kills and three blocks. West had 11 digs and three aces. Atkinson had 11 digs. White had 17 assists. Junior Madison Austin had 15 assists and two aces.

On Thursday, September 21 the JV team defeated the George Washington Hawks in two sets. Emily Hylton had five aces and two kills. Reamy had nine aces and five assists. Barber had eight aces.

The Varsity team later defeated the Hawks in three sets. West had eight kills. Junior Reagan Vickers had six kills. Atkinson had six aces. White had 22 assists and nine aces. Austin had nine aces.

The Lady Trojans will play the Gretna Hawks on Monday, September 25 at Gretna High School.
