Winter is here which means a different wardrobe style is in. Although our part of Virginia doesn’t get super cold, we still have to bundle up for the winter. Here are some pros and cons to being fashionably dressed this Christmas.
Pros:
- Since it’s winter, everyone is pulling our their hoodies, flannels, and sweatpants. Therefore, there’s less hassle when it comes to having to iron clothes. These baggy outfits don’t require much maintenance, so all we have to do is throw it on and go.
- We finally get to pull out our snow boots! Sperry’s and Uggs are a must for us in the cold weather. They are both so comfy inside because of their warm material on the inside. These boots go with everything.
- We get to put on our fuzzy socks. These socks are so important in the winter because they’re so soft and warm. They’re perfect to wear under snow boots, Uggs, and Sperry’s.
- Layering is something everyone looks forward to. We get to show off our cute outfits and stay warm at the same time. It’s truly a win-win.
While winter clothes are fun and cozy, there are some cons as well.

- Since everyone is wearing so much, the material can become itchy, which is very uncomfortable at times.
- Some of the clothes are bulky, which makes it much hard to find “cute” clothes to wear.
Looking forward to the summer of 2024, there are pros and cons to dressing cute in the summer as well.
Pros:
- We get to show off our tan lines! Being tan in the summer is such a rewarding feeling, and it truly boosts my confidence.
- Summer clothes are very lightweight so it’s much easier to move around. These flowy tops make summer much more fun.
- Since summer clothes are so lightweight, they call for alot of “breezy comfort,” which is so nice because of the hot weather.
While summer clothes are super cute and comfy, there are a few cons…
Cons:
- Since it’s so hot in the summer, everyone tends to sweat which can ruin lots of cute outfits.
- On the rainy/humid days, curly hair can easily frizz up which makes it so hard to rock a good outfit and to feel confident in it.
