On September 16, 2024, the Lady Trojans went up against the Chatham Cavaliers. JV and Varsity both defeated Chatham’s teams with impressive sets. Although both Tunstall teams had to fight for their win, it helped make the game very captivating. 

The JV players for both teams put in a lot of effort for the win. Tunstall’s Lady Trojans beat the Cavaliers in the first set 25 – 16. A few highlighted players in this set were Leah Blackwell, Gianna Reamey, and Kenley Barbour. In the second set, the Trojans won by 25 – 9. The players in this set that stood out were Kara Eastwood, Sage Abercrombie, and Rylee Tune. 

Varsity Lady Trojans kept the entertainment up with the win of the first set by 25 – 15. The Varsity girls who helped bring the win home were Colby Eastwood, Delaney West, and Lauren Torborg. In the second set, the Cavaliers were defeated 25 – 10. Adrey Stevens and Khamauri Mays helped the Trojans seal the win. In the third and final set, the Cavaliers came ready to fight but so did the Lady Trojans. With a score of 25 – 17, the Trojans beat the Cavaliers by eight points. 

The Lady Trojans never fail to disappoint their beloved fans. We hope to see them bring home more victories.
