Many people have a particular music genre that reminds them of their childhood and has always been their go-to music. I personally am a big fan of country music, so here is my rundown on the best artists of country music.

Thomas Rhett

Thomas Rhett has always been number one on my country artist list. I love his old music, especially Star of the Show, because I remember my sister and I listening to this song when we were kids. I prefer his older songs, but his song Mawmaw’s House, featuring Morgan Wallen, is my favorite out of his new music. The best album is Life Changes which was released in September of 2017. 

Riley Green

Riley Green is an amazing country artist who has gained a lot of fame throughout this year. His best song, in my opinion, is “Jesus Saves,” which he released in 2024. This song is my favorite because it has such a good meaning behind it and is just a really good song. I have seen him in concert twice, and both times, it was phenomenal. He seems like such a genuine person that it is easy to like and enjoy his music. 

Chris Stapleton

What can I say? Chris Stapleton is just amazing. My favorite song by him is Cold which was released in 2020. His music just has such a calming aspect to it and his voice is so good. He has a raw talent for singing and he definitely knows how to use it. I would love to see him live but that probably won’t happen. 

Megan Moroney

Megan Moroney is one of my favorite female country singers. Her new album Am I Okay? is so good. She is currently on tour but is not really coming anywhere near Danville, which is unfortunate. I would definitely recommend her song I Know You. Her outfits are my favorite, the dresses she wears are absolutely gorgeous. 

Hudson Westbrook 

Hudson Westbrook is a newer country artist but is definitely one of my favorites. He has a really good voice and his songs are amazing. His song Take It Slow was his first popular released song. He is from Texas and made his debut on Tiktok in April of 2024. My favorite song by him is definitely 5 to 9. 

All of these artists are playing on repeat in my car. That is one thing for sure. Honestly it was hard for me to pick my favorites but I definitely stand by my decision.
