Lady Trojans compete in districts
The Tunstall track girls placed second overall at the district meet held on April 23, 2015, at Tunstall High School.
The events were 100 hurdles, long jump, mile and two mile, 800 meters, and the 4×100 relay.
They competed against Chatham, Dan River, and Gretna and were coached by David Pavord and Bonnie Elkow.
The top finishers were freshmen Tomarri Lee, Brandi Beckelheimer, Hannah Hale, junior Brianna Farrar, and seniors Tayanna Lee and Bre Carter.
Tomarri Lee placed second in 100 hurdles and in the 4×100 relay. The relay team was made up of Brandi Beckelheimer, Bre Carter, and Tayanna Lee.
Tayanna Lee was second in the long jump too.
Hannah Hale competed in the one mile and scored first place. She also ran in the two mile and placed second.
Brianna Farrar took second place as well in the 800 meters.
The Lady Trojans will compete in their next meet at Basset on April 29.
