Senior Night causes bittersweet feelings
Varsity Girls soccer team won against Magna Vista. The score was 5-0.
“It makes me really emotional,” said Senior Captain Anna Wright. The emotions draw from the leaving of the seniors and the freshmen. As well as seeing the freshmen grow up and becoming more mature.
“This freshmen class is strong and I’m very confident in their ability to lead the team in the future,” said Senior Megan Cassada.
“[I feel] confident they can step up and be the best soccer player they can be.” says Senior Lauren Ritch.
The emotion about the last game seemed to overwhelm everyone.
“[It is] bitter sweet, sad that I have to move on and leave the game and team behind,” says Ritch. Megan Cassada seemed to have the same emotions. “[It is] bitter sweet, but I’m happy with how the 4 years have went. I would not [have it] any other way.”
