Need a Valentine’s Day gift idea?

Finding the right gift for your boyfriend or girlfriend can be very difficult, stressful, and expensive. It also can get very annoying for your followers on Pinterest. There’s no need to spend a huge amount of money on someone to show them how much you love them. Here are 10 easy and inexpensive DIY (do it yourself) gift ideas for your significant other.

1. “52 things I love about you” cards. All you need to do is get a deck of cards and for each card write one thing you love about that person. You can get creative and decorate them anyway you want to.

2. Get a little tin mailbox or cute bucket (target has very cute ones #dollaraisle) and on the outside of it write “a kiss for each thing I love about you.” Then, fill the mailbox with Hershey kisses. On each Hershey kiss, write something you love about the person on the bottom.

3. Open when…letters. Take notes boys! Write a letter saying what you would say to your significant other when they’re upset, mad at you, bored, need a reminder of how much you love them, etc.

4. Date night jar. Decorate a mason jar and fill it with popsicle sticks. On each popsicle stick write a fun date idea. Ideas can range from going out to a fancy dinner to eating popcorn and watching Netflix. So when you and your bae can’t decide what to do, use the date jar!

5. Coffee mug with a cute saying. For example, you could write “I love you a latte” on it.

6. Jar of candy. Fill a mason jar with candy and on the jar write a clever saying. For example, Reese’s pieces and on the jar write “I love you to pieces.” Other examples would be gummy worms “hooked on you since (date you started dating),” or Swedish fish “you’re a great catch.”

7. A bouquet of your boyfriend or girlfriend’s favorite candy and snacks. Candy and snacks are always a necessity, and it also shows your creativity (even though you probably stole it from Pinterest or this article).

8. Cute card with a clever saying. Make a card with a pizza on it and write “you stole a pizza (piece of) my heart. And give them the card while enjoying a large pizza.

9. Alphabet album. For every letter of the alphabet, write a thoughtful sentence. For example you could say “E- every single day am grateful for you.” Then once you’re finished you can put them in an album or you could write them in a cute journal.

10. A collage of your favorite pictures with your boyfriend or girlfriend. People love looking back at pictures and looking at all the memories. Make a collage and put it in a frame to remember all the memories you’ve made with your bae.

These are just a few ideas to help you have a special (and affordable) Valentine’s Day. Your valentine is sure to love and appreciate the effort you put into your gift.
