FFA Spirit Week held
This week the Future Farmers of America showed off their club spirit by having their own spirit week. The National FFA has made this week specifically on George Washington’s birthday as remembrance for him and his legacy.
To start off the spirit week, the FFA club members encouraged students to dress in red, white, blue and camouflage . In doing this, the FFA was able to show off their American pride in a fun way.
Tuesday was FFA Apparel day. the club wore the club’s national colors of blue and corn gold. Lots of members chose to wear their FFA jackets.
Western Wednesday was celebrated with belt buckles and boots. Also, breakfast was served to the teachers as appreciation for them.
Thursday was Agriculture Career Day. The FFA members dressed as the career in the agriculture field. For example, some students dressed as teachers, engineers, and farmers. “Today is by far my favorite, I’m dressed as a teacher,” says Vice President Demi Mills.
Flannel Friday end the FFA spirit week. Lovely checkered flannel were worn all throughout the halls. Mills describes this week as being loads of fun.
