Coco Ni is melting into Danville’s heart
There’s a new ice cream place in town and it’s different than any other in Danville.
Coco Ni opened July 24th and has been very popular since.
“Business has been pretty good,” said employee Ling.
Coco Ni is located at 459 Mount Cross Road, Suite C, and is open 7 days a week.
However, this isn’t any typical ice cream, it is Thai ice cream. They also serve crepes. Crepes are a type of very thin pancake, usually made from wheat flour or buckwheat flour that are rolled in a cone shape.
“Its much more original and we put more time and effort in it,” said employee, Madison.
Prices range from $4.50-$6.25. They offer many different varieties of crepes. Crepe choices include strawberry, chocolate and even vegan alternatives.
The restaurant was very clean, modern and welcoming. However, having only two employees making the ice cream meant that it took a while to actually receive the purchase itself. By the time my brother finished eating his, I was just getting mine.
Overall, I was impressed with Coco Ni and think it’s different than any other ice cream place I’ve ever seen or been to. The restaurant is very pleasant, and I think anybody who is trying to satisfy their sweet tooth should definitely consider Coco Ni.
