Apple is constantly making changes to its iOS updates, making the iPhone better and more useful. The most recent update, iOS 10, has brought changes that users must adapt to.

After downloading iOS 10, the first thing users will realize is that the “slide to unlock” is no longer at the bottom of the screen. From now on, iPhone users will have to press down on the home button once and type in their passcode or use their Touch ID to access their phone.

IMessage has a lot of major changes made to the iPhone. Users will be able to send digital touches. These include sketch, which can be changed to different colors, the fireball, which sends a fiery red ball to the receiving end, a kiss, a heart, and a broken heart. Also, people will be able to send gifs back and forth to each other.

Gifs are similar to pictures, but they are animated.

“I really like iOS 10 because of the changes to iMessage,” junior Taylor Ellis said.

New emojis have been added to give users more variety and choices, as well as changes to the shapes of them.

Clicking on photos, users will see a different setting and some new changes. Users can view their memories as a slideshow. The new software also takes the faces of the people in the camera roll and makes albums based on the person’s face.

Overall, iOS 10 has brought lots of changes to the iPhone for users to adapt to. Now go and enjoy the new options iOS 10 has to offer because before everyone knows it, a new update will be in the making.
