Post Malone’s music release postponed

I’ve been a Post Malone fan for a long time. I’m talking way back to the Justin Bieber days, long time. I follow fan accounts on Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, and Reddit. I even dressed up as him once for spirit week. I have his mixtape and his album on CDs as well as on my phone. I’ve listened to every song he’s featured in at least ten times, and that’s nothing compared to how much I’ve listened to his actual music but, honestly I’m tired of it.

Don’t get me wrong, August 26th was an absolute masterpiece of a mixtape and I still love every second of it. The incorporation of the Fleetwood Mac into “Hollywood Dreams” was brilliant and “Money Made Me Do It” and “White Iverson” were so great he decided to place them on the album, Stoney. Post never disappoints on his album features, either. August 26th featured well-known artists such as Lil Yachty to more underground artists such as Larry June. Stoney was well-rounded with its features incorporating singer, Justin Bieber along with rappers, such as 2 Chainz. B&B is rumored to have well-rounded features as well, but we still do not know because it has yet to be released.

As much as I love Austin Post, I am quite frustrated with the delayedness of this album. My hopes were at their apex, following the release of his single, “Rockstar”, in September but they slowly dwindled down the longer I’ve had to wait. When Post announced that B&B would be released in December, my anticipation for the album overcame my anticipation for Christmas (granted, Christmas isn’t my favorite holiday but I was still very excited for this album). However, I was disappointed yet again when Post announced that the album wouldn’t be released in December.

I, along with many other Post Malone fans, were hopeful that the album would be released on January 1 as a New Year’s gift, but our hopes were dashed when January 2 rolled around and there was no new content from the artist we love so very much. I wake up every day and check Apple Music along with the plethora of fan accounts that I follow, eager to hear the new content. However, not a morning has come that my ears have gotten to experience the wonderfulness of his new music, and for that reason, I am upset.
