“I knew Virginia Tech had a good [biology] program and I’ve always wanted to go there since I was a little girl. One year for Halloween, I was a Hokie cheerleader. And on game days, when my family would watch the game, I’d go take my brother’s Tech shirts and jersey from his closet and wear them. I chose biology because I’ve always been interested in the body and all of the processes in it. It blows my mind to think about everything that is happening in my body right now. I want to be a pathologist and perform autopsies. Also, Tech is very pretty. I can’t chose my favorite part.”
