“Liberty’s beliefs are centered around Christ and I feel like it’s a place where I can grow in my faith and be around other people with the same beliefs. I know not everyone there is a Christian though, so it will be a good place to share my faith, as well. Also, it’s close to home. When I went to College for a Weekend (CFAW), I was kinda scared because I was going with no friends, but there was worship and, oh my gosh, it was so good. The second day, I went to convocation and after it was over, I walked up to a random girl and said ‘are you CFAW?’ and now she’s my future roommate. It was a God thing because I almost backed out from going and so did she. I love her because we’re like the same person and it was so cool that I met her. I’ve always loved Liberty and the fact that it’s a Christian school. Every time I drove to Lynchburg, I would see the campus and think that’s where I’m going to go. When I paid my deposit, it was like ‘Oh my gosh, I’m going to college. This is scary,’ but it was also exciting because it’s my dream school. Also, the professors at Liberty are the best and care about you and will pray for you. I got a hug from a professor I didn’t even know.”
